VR strategy and business development support

We supported VR company Reality in Virtual Reality Ltd. in the United Kingdom to create a product-market strategy for their innovative VR simulation software for fire investigation. Subsequently CrisisSim assisted RiVR in marketing and business development in Europe, Asia and North America.

Co-creation of a research project for VR validation

Too little is known about the effectiveness of the use of VR in firefighter training. CrisisSim helped setup Project VR Effect to help researchers at the University of Western Norway and Coimbra (Portugal) to collect and analyse VR training data to validate effectiveness of VR in firefighter skills training.

Design and creation of a VR Experience Center

The Netherlands Burns Foundation uses Virtual Reality to support burn patient in treatment and rehabilitation. Furthermore the Burns Foundation is supporter of public fire safety awareness. CrisisSim designed and built a VR Experience Center for the Burns Foundation at the H20 Esports Arena Amsterdam.

Comics4Safety

CrisisSim designed Comics For Safety which aims to help save lives by presenting messages about fire safety and
the health of emergency responders in an attractive and visual way.

Firefighters and other emergency responders are confronted with all kinds of contamination hazards every day during their work. Our comic book heroes, the Pyrotechnix, want to teach firefighters the most important knowledge.
Comics4Safety was also shown during the VR Experience Center for the Burns Foundation at H20 Esports Arena Amsterdam.

SystemicVR

The SystemicVR 3D software tool allows systemic facilitators, coaches and trainers to create constellations with 3D virtual characters.
Virtual constellations can be viewed from above as well as through the eyes of the representatives.

In an online session (for example with Zoom or Teams) users can view the constellation and even control a 3D representative themselves.

CrisisSim built SystemicVR in times of the Corona Pandemic so facilitators could keep doing their job.

FireWise Consulting & Learning Academy 360 training

Toghether with FireWise Consulting & Learning Academy CrisisSim built 360 trainings for firefighters. It follows the steps for a complete fire investigation according to canadian and american standards.

Objects can be removed, people can be interviewed, etc. This is all to create a online training experience for firefighters so they are able to practise outside of "real" fires.

360 Water Dike safety training

Toghether with the Dutch Water Board CrisisSim built 360 trainings for dike keepers. It follows the steps for a complete Dike inspection according to Dutch standards.

You follow a Dike Keeper during an inspection and the student can make his own choices. At the end the Dike Keeper will explain their thoughts and findings. The student needs to finish a quiz to ensure they paid attention and learned from it.

Wylder Hotel 360 Walk Through

You get to choose where you want to go, if you want to go inside somewhere or if you want to stay right where you are. This is all done from a interactive map.

Darley Factory 360 Walk Through
